The Marketing Manager is responsible for communications, event planning, coordination with in-bound requests and out bound marketing.
This position, located in Lausanne, Switzerland, reports to the VP Marketing and is part of the global marketing team.
The ideal candidate will possess a marketing or communications background that enables them to interact with press, organizers of events, and incoming leads and requests.
The Marketing Manager should be able to provide a high-level overview of Bestmile as well as speak and write knowledgably about its solutions. This position is part of a team that represents the company at events. The Marketing Manager works closely with the Marketing team to prioritize and pursue outbound marketing activities.
Roles & Responsibilities
Proactively target participation in European and other global events, conferences as well as serve as a first point of contact for events requests, questions and company inquiries
Ability to summarize, write overviews, abstracts about the company and solutions
Work with Marketing on outbound marketing campaigns, lead inquiries, organizing webinars and other activities to support Sales and Business teams
Speak at tradeshows with the public (booth personnel), with incoming requests, press and others about the company
5+ years of marketing, communications, events and/or PR experience
Experience working with customers, press, leads, prospects and/or external groups
Understanding of enterprise software, services or products a plus
Strong verbal and written communications skills are important
Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
Ability to travel within Europe for large events as needed Fluency in English and French required
