Project Deployment Manager (Plano, US)

Luminator continued growth in the realm of on board Passenger Information Systems has resulted in an excellent opportunity for a Project Deployment Manager.

Required Skills

  • Project Deployment Management with broad understanding of business, contracts, quality and engineering functions and processes. Ability to lead a team of diverse, cross-functional professionals in the deployment of INFOtransit systems at various customer sites across North America.
  • Heavy customer involvement to develop and implement best roll out plan for their needs. Enhance the customer experience via new feature implementation resulting in repeat sales.

Specific Job Description

  • Assume total responsibility for the successful execution of multiple projects in various stages. This includes demo phase and through to production and on-site support plan.
  • Meet or exceed customer requirements for Cost, Schedule, Technical Performance and Customer Expectations by coordinating production orders, programming, and field service effort.

General Job Description

  • Customer interface and strong leadership in multiple project implementations. You will be responsible for defining scope, tracking customer requirements and communication, setting and achieving deadlines to meet deployment timing goals.
  • You will also be responsible to support sales in new business pursuits and to lead follow-on business proposals. Excellent opportunity to help define Luminator’s processes and improvements.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management or other related field.

Additional Qualifications

  • Proven ability to build & lead integrated teams from various internal and external organizations.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills.
  • Ability to think broadly & integrative. Experience setting & prioritizing goals and identifying & scoping effort for multiple overlapping projects.
  • Solid skill set in all aspects of Program/Project Management including knowledge of PM tools and processes.
  • Strong customer, executive communication and influencing skills.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus.
  • North American travel up to 25% of the time for customer meetings.
