Financial Analyst (Charlotte, US)

About the Role

As a Financial Analyst at Passport, you will be integral to our monthly, quarterly and annual forecast and budget processes. The financial analyst will work directly with the finance and sales teams, as well as with senior executives, gathering data and performing analyses to better understand the critical aspects of our business. In addition, you will support the sales organization by modeling the economic value of each new sales contract, and calculate the commissions earned by the sales team members.


  • Assisting in the month end close process
  • Creating departmental and client level actual vs. budget reports
  • KPI reporting related to the financial statements, clients, and end users
  • Supporting the business forecast modeling process
  • Managing and optimizing the deal audit process
  • Working directly with our sales teams to analyze our expected ARR (annual recurring revenue) and subsequent compensation payouts
  • Other ad-hoc finance related projects


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required, MBA is a plus
  • 3+ years of experience as a financial analyst
  • Experience working across multiple organizations in support of the financial forecasting , month-end close, and reporting processes
  • Superior resource, planning, and time management skills
  • Advanced Excel and database skills.
  • Comfort with the collaborative Google suite of products – Sheets, Drive, etc.
  • Excellent organizational and communication (written, verbal, and listening) skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Netsuite or ERP experience is a plus
  • Experience supporting sales compensation structures and pipeline reporting a plus
  • Experience in a rapid growth SaaS company is a plus
