Master Electrician (Grand Rapids, US)

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Provides technical support to interpret NEC and local electrical codes.
  2. Obtains the proper City permits as required to facilitate work on internal projects.
  3. Diagnose trouble in electrical circuits and machinery, and make necessary corrections, instructions and diagrams closely reading instruments and measurement devices, and installing, adjusting and repairing electrical controls and equipment.
  4. Lays out, assembles, installs, inspects, tests, and repairs electrical fixtures, control units, motors and equipment, and writing used light, power or communication system in the various buildings own by American Seating Company.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  1. Must know and follow REMARKS/ safe practices necessary to protect himself and others working.

Minimum Requirements

  1. High school diploma or GED.
  2. Preference provided to production / manufacturing based work experience.
  3. Master Electricians license and Contractor’s license
  4. Ten years of experience within the field preferred
