IT Systems Support Officer (Rockhampton, AU)

About the role:

Aurizon is currently seeking a IT Systems Support Officer based in our Rockhampton Control Centre on a full time basis, fixed term for 12 months. Working shift work to support a 24/7 control room, your duties will include:

  • Support users with functionality of new and current IT systems
  • Log and manage IT incidents
  • Manage/triage incidents into multiple IT logging systems
  • Investigate incidents and gather evidence for resolution
  • Manage resolution process with external Vendors
  • Assist with implementations and patches 

About you: 

  • 2 years of demonstrated IT Helpdesk Support experience
  • Ability to engage and communicate with multiple stakeholders
  • Exceptional customer services skills
  • High level of problem solving ability
  • Strong knowledge or ability to quickly acquire knowledge of IT systems
