About the Role:

Do you have a knack for developing solutions to ambiguous technical software requirements? Do you enjoy working with enterprise customers to deliver world-class service? Then you may be the Implementation Specialist we’re looking for on our team!

Our Implementation Specialists help to drive the post-sales execution of software development projects for end-clients (municipalities, agencies, universities, private operators). They establish expertise with the Passport systems and work with Project Managers to build out an awesome product for each client’s specifications. The abilities to problem solve, execute timelines, and bring stakeholders together toward a common vision are crucial on the Service Delivery team.

On a typical day, you may:

  • Assist Project Managers in onboarding a client onto the Passport platform.  This typically includes: environment buildout & system configuration, setting up third-party integrations, and applying system settings for more intricate projects.  You may also be asked to work with Passport’s marketing team to help get the client to launch.
  • Liaise between software development, business teams, 3rd parties, and end-clients.
  • Educate lines of business on project issues, technology hurdles, and new avenues to leverage Passport’s products.
  • Establish and document best practices and continuously improve ways of working so that each project becomes more efficient than the last.
  • Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders inside and outside of Passport.
  • Become a subject matter expert on the Passport system, helping to document and build up our knowledge base.
  • Train clients on functionality, configuration, and troubleshooting of Passport’s products and systems related to their operations.
  • Test user scenarios to ensure a top-notch implementation/end product.

The Ideal candidate has:

  • A 4-year college degree.
  • Demonstrable analytical skills.
  • Basic understanding of web application technologies highly preferred.
  • Proven experience performing in a project-based atmosphere, driving diverse stakeholders toward effective execution.
  • Ability to think on your feet and outside-of-the-box—adaptability is key.
  • Excellent communication skills to align project teams toward a common objective.
  • Problem-solving skills using customer service and end-user mindsets.
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to assist on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Lofty ambitions and a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to motivate self and take ownership of a project from planning to completion.
  • A team player attitude, promoting Passport’s cultural pillars.
