About the Role:

As a Program Director for Passport you embody the concept of creation, organization, and development of multiple activities within your field of focus. You are the keeper of the keys as it relates to our successes both communicated and realized which are aligned to the strategic objectives at Passport. 

You work cross-functionally on a day-to-day basis to ensure that multiple organizations, teams, and stakeholders work in a collaborative manner to ensure the alignment of our core strategies as a company.  You influence when necessary, simplify where possible, and ensure that everyone is driving toward the same set of goals. 

You will work regularly to develop program funding proposals, adoption and collision management charters, and ensure the uninterrupted delivery of services within our ecosphere. Change and adoption management are also key areas of expertise that you possess, understanding that is not only about the work before performed but more importantly how it is continuously adopted and accepted by the organization and our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop an effective strategy and plan of action to lead Passport Programs and Integrations from inception to completion.
  • Strategically map-out Program Schedules, Collision Calendars, and initiative timelines and ensure compliance
  • Oversee, advise and lead program and integration staff 
  • Assess and manage all program risks to scope, schedule, and budget
  • Provider strong leadership and vision while directing programs
  • Ensure selected programs always advance the core mission of Passport.
  • Develop work systems and processes that effectively drive productivity.
  • Continuously innovate, adapt and implement the Program Management Office 
  • Prepare, maintain and adhere to budgets as it relates to strategic initiatives
  • Create and maintain the structure and validity of Passport’s Capacity Management framework.
  • Oversee due-diligence and integration activities as it relates to Merger & Acquisition efforts.
  • Track, record, and compile program performance data.
  • Organizing programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.
  • Developing new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization.
  • Creating and managing long-term goals.
  • Developing a budget and operating plan for the program.
  • Developing an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
  • Writing program funding proposals to guarantee uninterrupted delivery of services.
  • Managing a matrix team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities.
  • Ensuring goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality and team member performance.
  • Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
  • Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services.
  • Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.
  • Analyzing program risks.
  • Working on strategy with the leadership team.
  • Managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Effectively negotiate, communicate and influence internal and external business partners, stakeholders, and vendors.

About You:

You’re the one whom everyone recognizes that you’ve got it together. Always prepared and ready to communicate at the most strategic levels of the organization while also being able to maintain fluency with the tactical execution areas.

The terms scoping, risk management, demand, change and adoption management are areas that you are completely comfortable both working within and owning at the highest levels. 

You’ve managed a budget, executed a myriad of projects, and coordinated multiple activities across an organization in parallel to ensure the desired outcome. Watching multiple areas of a program come together for a realized success is what drives you on a daily basis, you are not afraid to be the voice of reason when necessary while at the same know how to execute when it’s demanded.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree  with at least 4 years of program management experience
  • Proven experience within program / portfolio management
  • Strong business acumen and sense of awareness
  • Exceptional communicator, both orally and written
  • Charismatic leader focused on driving results in accordance with company mission
  • Proven history of personnel development, leadership coaching and management.=
  • Proven stakeholder management skill sets and successes
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Fluency in Program Management practices and core project management methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, and/or SCRUM.
  • Ability to influence (direct/indirect reports, project stakeholders, and leaders) and manage in a matrix organization 
  • Structured, methodical, and organized in execution, assumes full ownership and accountability for outcomes.
  • Drives for results and ensures certainty in delivery, ability to management multiple parallels efforts and deliver quality on schedule.
