About the Role:

As a Talent Specialist at Passport, your number one priority every day will be to source, attract and hire the best talent into an incredibly fast-paced, exciting, and constantly changing environment. At first you’ll immerse yourself in the Passport culture and brand. You’ll lean in on learning the business while building relationships with leaders; learn what they're looking for in talent and challenge them on ways to source and select talent.  You’ll also learn the business needs, the roles, and our recruitment process.

You will partner with the People Operations team and business leaders to drive ambitious growth goals from the people angle. Your mission will be to find candidates who bring an entrepreneurial spirit, a sense of ownership and grit, a passion for Passport’s mission, and diversity of thought to all they do. You will be an ambassador of the brand, building upon and improving the recruiting process using data and a continuous improvement mindset. You will champion full-cycle recruiting, from talent sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and hiring amazing employees. You’ll have a special focus on championing the process for our technical hires. You will strategically balance marketing our openings and screening candidates, while further developing our employment brand and building strong external talent program partnerships to deliver on exciting people growth goals.

All of the above being critical to success, but we still want more.  You will need to be passionate and flexible about all aspects of People Operations.  Since Passport is growing at such a rapid pace, we want teammates who can flex into other areas of People Operations; whether it be onboarding, learning and development programs for our employees, or supporting company culture activities. Our goal as a team is to attract the best, get them hired, and then keep them engaged, happy, and productive so that they continuously deliver for our clients and customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end recruiting process (sourcing, screening, coordinating, interviewing, negotiating, and offer acceptance) for a portfolio of high priority requisitions
  • Partner with People Operations teammates to continuously improve the recruiting strategy to attract top talent to Passport (e.g. finding external partnerships and networking opportunities to promote the Passport brand)
  • Collaborate with leaders to understand the business needs for roles and create compelling  job descriptions
  • Deliver a great candidate experience: develop strong relationships with candidates, keep candidates informed and engaged with quality communications throughout the hiring process
  • Execute against the employer brand strategy
  • Source the best and brightest diverse candidates through creative methods such as social media channels, soliciting referrals, networking events, and online platforms
  • Deliver training on recruitment, including interviewing best practices to remove biases and be able to appropriately identify the best fit candidates
  • Ensure stellar communications with hiring teams through a variety of methods (e.g. reporting dashboards, emails, and live in-person meetings)
  • Demonstrate and report out on recruiting effectiveness and performance
  • Lean in on additional People Ops activities as requested by the team

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or relevant field
  • 5+ years of full lifecycle recruiting experience preferred
  • 3+ years of human resource experience required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on tact, negotiation skills, and diplomacy
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail
  • Familiar with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs), HR databases, and G-Suite programs
  • Experience with HR processes, such as interviewing and candidate evaluation
  • Experience with solving complex issues
  • Strong work ethic, integrity and personal accountability
  • Proven ability to take initiative, use consultative skills and build strong, productive relationships
  • Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and an orientation towards building processes, and the ability to prioritize and succeed in an environment with competing demands
  • Experience with Greenhouse ATS is a plus
  • PHR, SPHR, or GPHR is a plus
  • SAAS company experience is a plus

Willingness to travel up to 15%.
