Job Summary:

The Director of DevOps is a seasoned leader that has extensive experience in software development and testing, deployment methodologies, modern software architecture, infrastructure architecture, and software operations practices. The Director of DevOps is a passionate technical champion that can link and articulate the benefits of modern software best practices to business outcomes. This role is responsible for driving cultural, technical and process changes across the organization to help increase customer value.

Job Description:

  • Define the vision and strategic objectives for the DevOps organization and what it means for Trapeze to implement a DevOps culture
  • Collaborate with other leaders to define plans to drive change in the organization
  • Influence the adoption of processes and tools to increase the effectiveness, efficiency and capabilities of those teams across the software delivery stream
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams to adopt modern software best practices
  • Define and establish mechanisms that drive a continuous integration culture across the engineering teams
  • Define business metrics/KPIs that measure the business impact of DevOps practices
  • Promote the DevOps culture across Trapeze teams
  • Establish and implement DevOps technical best practices
  • Be a change agent to build consensus among key decision makers and demonstrate benefits
