The Delivery Consulting team at Trapeze is accountable for creating quality proposals that deliver value to our customers. They do this by engaging directly with Account Executives and Solution Engineers to understand our client needs, as well as Product Management and Technical Delivery to quote and scope Professional Services for the delivery of our solutions. Reporting to the Director of Professional Services, the Manager of Delivery Consulting is ultimately responsible for the team’s quality and on-time delivery of quotes. You are an ambitious and driven individual who is detail oriented in nature. You will be responsible for managing and leading a team of Delivery Consultants as well as perform on the role of the Delivery Consultant for certain opportunities. Essentially, you are a player and a coach. You will manage the professional development of the team, recruiting and onboarding new hires, and will be responsible for managing team assignments. In addition to your core responsibilities, you will be working with our Business Analysts to ensure the team’s performance metrics are current and shared to the organization.
What You Will Be Doing:
Work closely with Professional Services, Product Management, Sales and Marketing to define Scopes of Work for sales opportunities.
Consult with internal and external customers to understand the goals and objectives of public and private organizations in the transit market of North America.
Manage multiple internal and external stakeholders across various product areas.
Own the building and continuous improvement, of a library that contains statements of work and pricing templates.
Work with our Sales and Product Management teams to lead the execution of key sales strategies
Manage Delivery Consultant task assignments, and work to balance priorities with the Sales Directors
Recruiting and onboarding new resources
Manage all Delivery Consulting metrics, monitor performance of the key metrics.
Assist with ad hoc requests and take on required initiatives
What You Bring to the Team:
At least 4 years of experience as a vendor-based project manager in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or Computer Science for an accredited University
Excellent consulting and business analysis skills.
Excellent communication and an active listening skills.
Superior command of written English with a demonstrated ability to produce quality documentation.
High drive and work ethic – if you don’t have 10+ things you are managing, the day is too boring for you.
A keen interest and aptitude in understanding Trapeze’s solutions and project delivery methodology
Passion for helping solve critical customer problems, and spearheading continuous improvement within our organization.
Ability to travel up to 25% within North America.
