Job Summary:

The Marketing Events Coordinator will be responsible for executing--with a high attention to detail-- Trapeze Group’s marketing events program, including tradeshows, conferences, related speaking submissions and sponsorships. The successful candidate will also oversee Trapeze Group’s industry and association memberships, help organize key internal meetings, and play an important role in supporting the execution of the annual ThinkTransit: The Trapeze Technology Conference as well as our new regional events

Job Description:

The candidate must be resourceful, detail oriented with strong project management and multi-tasking skills. Ability to work in a progressive, dynamic and fast-paced environment is essential.

Key Duties / Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee events from planning to execution, ensuring that KPIs are met
  • Act as the main point of contact for events, sponsorships, association memberships
  • Coordinate with other key stakeholders across the organization as required
  • Collaborate with other Marketing Team members to ensure that event execution is aligned with campaigns and specific event-driven requirements
  • Support Trapeze’s annual user conference-- ThinkTransit, the Trapeze technology conference-- driving its ongoing evolution in a world-class industry-recognized event
  • Ensure all aspects of event planning are executed, including: Internal and external logistics of each event (registration, sourcing 3rd party vendors, overseeing hotel/venue logistics, booth set-up, staffing, etc.) ; act as the main point of contact for internal/external inquiries; contribute and support post-event debrief and review
  • Identify strategic sponsorship and speaking opportunities to support brand awareness
  • Coordinate with 3rd party vendors as required per event
  • Adhere to event budget management and assist with tracking/reporting on performance measures, ROI etc.
  • Ensure related campaigns, contacts etc. are maintained and leveraged within key marketing automation and CRM systems

Requirements and Assets

·         Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing or Business 

·         1-2 years of business experience, ideally with a B2B events background

·         Experience with marketing automation systems (Marketo)  and CRM systems (Salesforce)

·         Some experience and knowledge of social media would be an asset

·         Proven skills in managing and executing on multiple projects simultaneously
