As a Product Designer for Traveler Experience at Trapeze, your role is to work with cutting edge technology to design innovative transit solutions including apps and responsive sites that inspire and amaze stakeholders. You will take complicated tasks and transform them into intuitive, accessible and user-centric products.

Job Description:

What You’ll Do:

• Work closely with product management and developers to create innovative products that customers love
• Manage our end-to-end product design process; from research to delivery
• Define user journeys and customer personas from interviews, business insights, and overall market trends
• Individually responsible for initiating gathering requirements; defining, researching and validating
• Generate user interfaces, prototypes, mock-ups, style guides, and component guides
• Create mock-ups for native mobile, tablet, and responsive web
• Collaborate with mobile and web application developers to ensure the delivery of a successful product
• Facilitate usability and accessibility testing
• Work within brand guidelines and expand them into design systems appropriate for your products
• Work with stakeholders to ensure overall goals and needs are met
• Present proposed solutions to external stakeholders and internal teams
• Work within project schedules and multi-tasking to meet deadlines
• Advocate for the customer experience

Must Have:

• 5 – 7 years of work experience as a UX Designer / Product Designer
• Ability to travel up to 15% within North America
• Proficiency in tools like Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD
• Strong portfolio of mobile and responsive web products 
• Experience identifying the requirements necessary for product research 
• Ability to translate product goals, user research, and analytics into user-friendly product
• Experience with start to end design process
• Experience creating comprehensive design specifications and functional documentation for development teams
• Understanding of best UX practices and design trends 
• Understanding of best accessibility practices 
• Experience in planning and conducting qualitative and quantitative research 
• Proactive approach, driving projects forward by quickly identifying and removing blockers
• Proven communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Experienced in Software Development Life Cycle methodology (SDLC)
• Experience in waterfall, agile and hybrid delivery methodologies

Nice to Have:

• Experience working in a customer-facing role within enterprise software industry
• Experience working with databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle
• Experience managing client relationships
