We, the EEVC Project Management Office, consist of 30 project and portfolio managers. We are involved in all projects with electrical, electronics and/or vehicle connectivity impact. In some product changes we have an overall responsibility for the complete vehicle delivery, in others we take the EEVC project management role for the specification, design and internal verification of the electrical system.
As a Project Manager EEVC, you will be a future key player in the most extensive heavy duty vehicle projects and manage EEVC strategic areas contributing to the overall business. You will be responsible for all aspects of our project deliveries and work with a broad perspective from high level prerequisites and concept development in the early phases – to the later project phases managing planning, development and delivery. 

Who are you?

To be prepared for this role we think that you have a solid project management background and that you have several proven examples of successful deliveries and positive results as well as insights from having faced though challenges. In our global and sometimes complex organizational structure, and as you will be interfacing both a rather newly established agile set-up as well as the traditional HW development your appreciated communication skills and good way with people will be a success factor. 

You are a team player interacting through a broad network, having the skills to transfer high level prerequisites into project requirements and deliverables - as well as being comfortable to communicate project status in steering committees, reference groups, and management teams on executive level. You have the abilities to prioritize and focus the project on the main areas contributing to delivering an improved EEVC business result.

You always strive to develop further in your role and show strength to manage risks in planning and decision making. You are of course both business and customer oriented.

Required knowledge/experience

  • In this position you will work in an international environment, meaning that being fluent in both spoken and written English is something we require
  • At least three years of leading other people in projects as task leader or project leader, or in agile roles such as scrum master or product owner is a pre-requisite. A PMP or equivalent certification is a merit
  • At least three years of working with electronic systems, preferably from automotive industry (including specification, implementation, verification and supplier management)
  • MSc in Engineering or equivalent education/experience
