SBB is purchasing a mobile pit facility for the control of bandages for the non-destructive testing of wheelbase areas. The installation will be implemented in Zurich in 1 preparation hall of the newly created axle maintenance center.

The tire control system is positioned and used in the reprofiling channel located after the pit tower.

The installation must meet the operating requirements of the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB), have a high level of availability in accordance with the conditions at the place of use, be in accordance with the state of the art currently in force and complete all applicable requirements in the field of security.

SBB reserves the right to award an optional additional 4 mobile pit facilities for the control of bandages to 4 other sites in Switzerland, as part of an over-the-counter procedure.

SBB reserves the option of awarding 4 additional mobile pit facilities for tire control on a voluntary basis.

Another option for an OTC award based on the original contract for other phases and / or other quantities and / or additional services and for an extension of the contract of maximum 5 years after signature of the contract is expressly reserved.

SBB expressly reserves the right to exercise its option right on a staggered basis / to launch in time and, if necessary, 1 invitation to tender for the award of these services (in whole or in part) in competition with the basis of the current legal requirements relating to public procurement. The timing of the exercise of the option as well as the distribution of the optional services in case of possibility of further order of additional services will be communicated in due course.

The conditions of the initial contract, including the initial financial base, all additions and modifications generated by the exercise of option rights / orders for new services by SBB / benefit modifications, special agreements and other riders to the contract also govern the services ordered later. The scope of the services, the deadlines and the other points of the contract will be agreed in all cases in writing before the beginning of the execution of the contractual commitments on the basis of a tender detailed in 1 amendment to the initial contract.
