Rail+Metro/Tunnel China 2016

Since their debuts in 2002 and 2004 respectively, Rail+Metro China and Tunnel China have grown to become the quintessential showcase of technological innovation across all sectors of the rail industry supply market in China, now extending its reach to much of Asia and the Pacific Rim.

The event has gained the support of numerous influential government departments and associations including the Department of Basic Industries, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Shanghai Municipal Transportation Commission, the Tunnel and Underground Works Branch of the China Civil Engineering Society, and the China Academy of Transportation Sciences, in addition to many nationally renowned companies and institutions such as the China International Engineering Consulting Corporation, the Shanghai Shentong Metro Group Co., Ltd., Southwest Jiaotong University and the Tongji University Institute of Rail Transit, to name a few.

With more than 200 of the rail industry’s leading suppliers from 15 countries exhibiting this year, and spanning 20,000 square meters of show space, Rail+Metro/Tunnel China 2015 attracted over 13,500 industry professionals from at least 42 countries. And next year is already set to be even bigger!

Rail+Metro/Tunnel China is not only about  forging new business partners and securing new procurement channels and supply chains. Held alongside the exhibition, we also play host to a well-established and influential conference platform, with an extensive program of speeches and seminars delivered by leading industry figures. The format promotes constructive and often lively exchanges between speakers and audience, as well as offering compelling networking opportunities.

Rail+Metro/Tunnel China 2016 will be held from 14th – 16th June 2016 at Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) on an expanded scale, focusing on the core rail industry areas of subway, tram, intercity rail, suburban railway, mid-low speed maglev, heavy haul railway and high-speed railway technology and systems.
