Event description

Have you been celebrating Smart Commute Week‬?

During Smart Commute Week, ‎Metrolinx‬ encourages those living and working in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area to explore the available transportation options and try something new!

Use the online tool to explore your transportation options, match your trips with others and track the impact of your travel choices.
The more options you try and log, the more chances to win 1 of 4 VIA Rail vouchers, each worth $500.
To enter the Smart Commute Week contest, log in or register an account on the Smart Commute tool during the Contest Period (Sept. 14 to 28) and log at least one trip using a travel mode other than “drive alone”.

What is Smart Commute?

Smart Commute is a program of Metrolinx and the municipalities in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. They help anyone who is going from A to B explore and try out smart travel options such as walking, cycling, transit and carpooling. Their goal is to ease gridlock while helping you save time and money.
