Entur’s main task is to make it easy for people to use public transport. A solid knowledge of the relationship between travellers and operators contributes to innovation and quality for both passengers and operators.
Entur AS will offer significantly better travel information across transport modes, to help make public transport the natural first choice for travelers.
The work that has been done to establish a national travel planner is now being gathered in Entur AS:
dit.no is a service developed by the Norwegian Public Roads Administration together with the transport industry in Norway. The goal is to offer a complete door-to-door service for all national travels by bus, boat, tram, train, subway and plane. In addition the service includes walking, biking, leasing of city bikes and park and ride as a natural part of the journey.
tidr.no is a service developed by NSB which allows the customer to travel door to door in Norway - either by bus, train, tram, subway or boat. Tidr is both a website and an app for Android and Apple phones. Tidr makes it easy to search for addresses, stations, bus stops, save favorite places, filter results by transportation mode, save travels for later use and export to calendar. The user can also share travel itineraries and can give feedback on travel suggestions made by others. Tidr also has widgets for use on external websites.
