Schliess- und Sicherungssysteme GmbH is a medium sized company with approximately 190 employees. Our location is in the heart of Germany and has very good transport connections.

Equally advantageous is the long tradition of metalworking industry and a resulting potential for good professionals at Muehlhausen.

The company was created as a locomotive repair facility and has more than 40-year tradition. In the mid-1950s the manufacturing of locks and hinges for the wagon building started.

Today our company is one of the most important systems and supply partner for national and international rail vehicle manufacturers and railway operators. The top priority of our work is the satisfaction of our customers.

Our success in business is the motivation of our employees and to ensure their employment.

Problems will be solved by our development department in collaboration with the customer. For that purpose we use the existing know-how and resources, such as CAD technology, cooperate with designers and have an own development and testing department.
