NW Regional Sales Manager (Grand Rapids, US)

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  1. The North West Regional Sales Manager is responsible for implementing and managing the company sales, marketing, and distribution objectives within Northern California, Oregon, Nevada, Montana, Idaho, Hawaii, Washington and Alaska using a relationship driven sales approach
  2. Will identify and interpret customer requirements and provide technical/consultative assistance to customers in the selection, application, installation, and operation of transportation seating products.
  3. All candidates applying should have proven experience in sales management of direct sales staff and/or independent representatives.

Minimum Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent number of industry related experience
  2. Minimum 5 to 7 years of successful related sales experience with increasing account responsibility, increasing revenue goals and increasing product portfolio responsibility
  3. Proven experience in sales management of independent representatives as a critical aspect of sales coverage and revenue growth
  4. Strong background in facilitating collaborative meetings and developing strategic working relationships with transit agencies, C-suites, Maintenance Directors and purchasing managers, engineers.
  5. Preferred background in manufacturing for the public transportation industry
  6. Ability to manage all aspects of the sales cycle from negotiations to close
  7. Highly developed written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are essential
