Business Operations Analyst (Mississauga, CA)

Job Summary:

As the Business Operations Analyst, you will report to the Vice President of Professional Services. You are an ambitious and driven individual who is detail oriented in nature. You will be responsible for reporting, dash boarding, analyzing, providing business insights, proposing and presenting trends for the benefit of the Operations Business Leaders at Trapeze. In addition to these core responsibilities, your assistance may be requested on a wide variety of other activities and internal projects to assist the Operations department in meeting our business objectives.

Job Description:

What you’re going to be doing:

  • Support each of the Operations leaders in Professional Services, Customer Care and Customer Success to gather their reporting and dash boarding requirements.
  • Increase productivity by developing automated tools and processes for our Operations business.
  • Gain a deep understanding of all Operations data and perform continued analysis that will result in the presentation of trends along with proposed actions for the Operations business leaders.
  • Maintain all Operations metrics, monitor performance of the Operations departments’ key metrics and notify leaders of areas of concern.
  • Assist with ad hoc requests and take on required initiatives


  • You have Bachelor’s Degree with a Business Related Major (Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
  • 2 + years of experience in data analysis and dash boarding.
  • 2 + years of experience writing scripts in VBA, utilizing Power Query, creating Macros, and integrating MS Excel with other tools for tool optimization.
  • Experience utilizing Power BI.  
  • You are passionate about data.  Not just any data, but clean and correct data!
  • Your unbelievable attention to detail is scary to others.
  • You love MS Excel and think it is the best product Microsoft ever built.
  • You are well-known for your high drive, work ethic and metric orientation.
  • Other people think you are a wizard, turning vast amounts of information into great insights and beautiful reports and dashboards.
