Software Development Manager (Mississauga, CA)

Job Summary:

As a member of the Software Development team you will join a talented group of individuals and play an important role in designing, developing and maintaining exciting responsive software solutions.

Job Description:

Our Software Developers are responsible for a wide range of web-based products as well as the support of our Core frameworks. You will work on a variety of development tasks in a growing organization and focus on our web-based transit solutions. 

As a Software Development Manager at Trapeze you will:

·       Lead a team of software developer team to deliver on time following best practices

·       Hands-on involvement in development/design/architecture/code review

·       Apply principles and methodologies of scrum agile development practices

·       Maintain regular communication with the stake holders to ensure quality and timely product deliveries


·       Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar

·       Leadership experience (as a team-lead, supervisor, manager or director) of software development teams with proven success track record

·       Hands-on full stack development experience (ideally using Angular/JavaScript/C#/C++)·       Experience with cloud technologies, modern build/versioning systems preferred

·       Strong belief in leadership and accountability

·       Maintain regular communication with other team members and stakeholders to ensure the quality and timely product deliveries

·       Keen to learn and keep up with new technologies
