The 5th workshop of the ITxPT association (Information Technology for Public Transport) was held in Paris at the end of April 2017.

For the record, the international association ITxPT aims to promote the implementation of standards and recommendations allowing plug-and-play between IT systems installed in public transport vehicles.

ACTIA is leading in particular the group about cyber security applied to public transport. Through this work and in collaboration with several members, ACTIA and ITxPT intend to provide operators and transport authorities with a secured architecture regarding data, systems and persons to ensure a more secure and innovative mobility, as can expect public transport users.

About cyber security of on-board systems, ACTIA’s recognized know-how contributed to the development of European and global normative standards, workable in the short term. Alongside the major vehicle manufacturers, ACTIA works to meet all the challenges related to mobility, mobility that is now connected and sustainable, dedicated to safety and comfort of passengers.
