Central Buses, last year’s Small Bus Operator of the Year, continues to set the pace in terms of continuously revitalising its fleet and introducing modern, state-of-the-art vehicles.
The latest additions for the Midlands based company are three 10.8m, 39-seat Enviro200s which will run on the high capacity Route 1 between Chapelfields, Coventry City Centre and University Hospital.
All three are fitted with Centrad 4G WiFi, USB charging points and eight-camera CCTV systems. They are powered by Euro5 Cummins ISBe four-cylinder, 160PS engines and Allison S2100 transmissions.
Speaking about his latest acquisitions Geoff Cross, Managing Director at Central Buses, commented: “We are passionate about bringing together high quality buses and friendly drivers to uphold our reputation as one of the leading bus operators in the country.
“Vehicles with comfort, style and performance are fundamental in our bid to achieve that objective and in that respect the Enviro200 fits the bill perfectly. We now have 11 of them in our fleet and they certainly live up to their reputation. It is little wonder they are the UK’s best-selling midi buses.”
