Towing trucks and their maintenance and repair services
The aim is to select the most economically advantageous service providers for HUS from which to procure new traction trucks for the operating conditions of the hospital environment and to provide service and maintenance services for these new traction trucks and the existing old equipment.
Tow trucks are mainly used indoors and are used to pull mainly laundry and food, but also waste and supplies rollers. The number is now about 50 and the need for renewal is about 20 over the next four (4) years.
HUS selects one (1) main supplier and one (1) deputy supplier for each sub-area.
A deputy supplier is used if the main supplier is unable to deliver products or services on the agreed schedule or scope.
The aim is to ensure that the equipment is suitable and safe for its intended use - different requirements are emphasized in different applications.
Towing trucks must meet the requirements of the Government Decree of 12 June 2008/403 on the safe use and inspection of work equipment and Directive 2006/42 / EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 May 2006 on machinery and amending Directive 95/16 / EC.

In accordance with the investment plan, it is intended to procure suitable towing trucks as the old towing trucks are taken out of service at the end of their economic life.
HUS does not commit to any order quantities, but reserves the right, at its discretion, to order a suitable number of compliant tow trucks.
The agreement is valid for a fixed period of two (2) years and will continue to be valid until further notice. The estimated value of EUR 100,000 means a four (4) year contract period in accordance with the Procurement Act.
