On-Board Solutions

Communication and control

Mitron systems are based on open industry standards with dynamic IP, allowing for easy connectivity between devices and systems, and thus providing reliable and flexible communication within the vehicle, between vehicles and from train to ground.

In addition to that, Adaptive Network Routing and Dynamic Domain Name Service (DDNS) enable automatic and fast reconfiguration, for instance, for the train composition changes.

Public Address System

A modular IP based public address system conveys automatic announcements and live messages distinctively for passengers of the entire train or just in the single cars.

You can count on high system availability by combining digital and analog technologies with IP based networks and UIC bus. Versatile and configurable vehicle positioning logics can be utilized for the triggering of automatic announcements.

Intercommunication System

The Mitron intercommunications system facilitates phones, microphones and train radio interfaces, with a ruggedized design, to enable seamless and fluent communications within the vehicle and from train to ground.

To secure the flexible and undisturbed operation of our systems in diverse environments, we use redundant Ethernet and UIC bus technologies to ensure high system availability. Advanced features, such as duplex speech, enhance easy and efficient staff communications.

CCTV system

Our fully digital CCTV system uses standard Ethernet and WLAN interfaces to enable effective and easy security control.

A video recorder saves the video streams from the surveillance cameras on a hard drive. Metadata from various sources enables efficient situational analysis. With the help of triggers, such as the emergency calls or brakes, camera views and video recordings of specific situations can be saved and stored for later use. High data security is achieved, for instance, through ejectable hard drives with tight access control and encrypted user authorization control.
