r2p GmbH is delighted to receive a further project of the company Stadler Altenrhein AG: Over the next years the Swedish operator Transitio will equip up to 110 vehicles with technical gear from Flensburg. The vehicles will be part of the KISS and the FLIRT platforms. As a first step 33 KISS double-decker vehicles will be manufactured and later installed.
René Seliger, r2p Project Director and Shareholder, is especially happy about this development: “The won order does not only build on our strong and successful relationship with our trustful client Stadler, but is also proof of the consistent, reliable work our r2p team performs every day. Without the support and commitment of my colleagues this step would not even have been thinkable.”
Stadler is a family managed company with long tradition in the industry. Worldwide more than 20 production- and service sites are producing reliable rail vehicles. Founded in 1942, the company has more than 7000 employees today.
The rapidly growing r2p Group, headquartered in Flensburg, Germany, operates internationally in 27 countries with subsidiaries in Denmark and Brazil. It has a further close cooperation in Taiwan, a sales office in the United Kingdom and the Czech Republic, and local manufacturing in India.
